Please carefully read these Terms & Conditions if you want to be a customer and active user of this webshop. Use our services only if you agree with every point and accept them as binding. This agreement shall not be filed, only considered to be agreed upon in electronic format. Order form received by us will be printed, assigned a serial number, and stored for reference.

Our webshop only sells Origami® brand seasonal products, designed by our company and manufactured in Hungary. Origami® is a registered trademark of Origami-Bikini Ltd. with a deserved reputation as a leading Hungarian beachwear brand.


Our webshop list prices in a currency depending on the country: Hungarian Forint when delivering to Hungary and Euro when delivering to other EU countries. Our displayed prices contain 27% VAT. We reserve the right to change prices without prior warning, but products will be provided at the price listed at the time the order was placed. We will make every reasonable effort to avoid and correct any errors on our site, but cannot accept responsibility for them. Prices do not contain the cost of transport. Delivery costs will be paid by the customer, unless otherwise indicated on the product’s data sheet. In case orders where the total cost exceeds a certain limit, delivery will be free. There is no separate cost for packaging.

Notice about package deliveries:

By submitting an order, the customer assumes an obligation to pay. Only submit orders in case you will be able to pay the price to the courier at the time of delivery! In case of failed deliveries and returned packages, we are only able to deliver again if the full price is paid in advance by bank transfer.

Product orders and stock:

If a product can be ordered or pre-ordered, the cart will be active and the selected product with the selected size can be placed into it. In case a product in a certain size is currently not available for purchase, it will not appear and thus cannot be placed in the shopping cart.

The images on the product pages are for illustration purposes only, the actual products may vary. We assume no responsibility for any unannounced changes in specifications due to factors beyond our control.

We reserve the right to refuse already confirmed orders, in whole or in part – in such cases any advance payments will be refunded. Partial completion of orders requires an advance agreement with the customer!

By submitting an order, you accept the General Terms & Conditions of ORIGAMI BIKINI Ltd.

We are only able to process order forms that have been completely filled out and only in case the information they contain is real (full name, accurate e-mail address, phone number, address). We are unable to complete orders submitted with incomplete information and assume no responsibility for any damages resulting from such orders.

Received orders will in every case be confirmed by our support department through e-mail.

The total as calculated in the order summary and confirmation letter contains all costs. The invoice is included in the package and in case of an electronic bill, will also be delivered by e-mail.

In case of payment by bank transfer, a request for payment will be sent after the order has been finalized, which can be used to pay for the order

Payment by card:

Our webshop accepts payment by credit and debit cards through a service provided by OTP Bank Nyrt. using a secure, SSL protocol-based transfer system. When paying by card, you will be redirected to a payment page maintained by OTP Bank and make the payment directly in an environment operated by the bank that conforms to all international data security laws and regulations, not on the website of our shop.

Throughout the process, the operators of webshop have no access to any information about the cards used for payment, such as card numbers or expiration dates.

To pay by card you will need the following information:
  • Card number (A 13-19 digit number printed or embossed on the front of the card.)
  • Expiration date (A number in mm/yy format, printed or embossed on the front of the card.)
  • The last three digits of the number found in the signature area on the back of the card {CVV2 or CVC2}. In case your card does not contain such a number, it will be found on the payment screen and the relevant field will need to be left empty!
Our webshop accepts the following card types:

  • Electron (non-embossed) With these cards, the issuing bank decides whether the card can be used for payment over the internet. In case bank has authorized internet purchases for the Electron card in question, we accept it as a form of payment. For more detailed information, please contact the bank that issued the card!
  • Maestro The internet payment interface of OTP Bank can accept Maestro cards issued by any bank. However, this requires the issuing bank to also support the use of its Maestro cards for e-commerce transaction purposes! Please consult your bank!

To increase security in e-commerce card transactions, OTP Bank has introduced the Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code (VbV/MSC) service. This allows the issuing bank to provide the card holder with some kind of additional identification method that will be checked during the transaction and allow the person holding the card to be definitively identified.

In case the VbV/MSC service is not available at the bank issuing the card, or its use was not requested by the card holder, the default payment process is used. You will be redirected from out site to the OTP Bank payment page, where you can enter your card information (card number, expiration date, security code) and the value of the purchased products/services will be deduced.

In case your bank does offer the VbV/MSC service and you are taking advantage of it, an alternate payment process is used. Your card information (card number, expiration date, security code) are still entered on the OTP Bank interface as usual. However, after this you will be redirected to the relevant page of the bank that issued the card and prompted to perform the identification procedure. In case of successful identification, the transaction continues, you will receive a message confirming its completion and will be redirected to the webshop. In case the identification fails, the transaction is aborted.

Our webshop aids your browsing experience with a search function that allows you to search for words or word fragments in the names and descriptions of our products.

Our webshop can be used easily even without registering for an account. However, registration is recommended, as this allows you to simply LOG IN with your previously used e-mail address if you want to make new purchases. Registered users can always alter their previously given information before finalizing an order. Our system saves the altered data and it will be ready for use in the next purchase. Take care and check that you provide accurate information, as this will be used to contact you if necessary and will also be used for the delivery and in creating your invoice!

Warning! An incorrectly given e-mail address or your e-mail storage space being full can cause your order to become undeliverable!

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday between 8:00-12:00 AM. Orders submitted on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays will be processed on the next business day, as will orders submitted after 12:00.

Orders can be placed outside of the highlighted processing hours. In case this is outside of normal business hours, the order will be processed the following business day.

Our service department will always send an e-mail confirming when the order can be completed. General completion time is 1-5 days from the time of confirmation, depending on the place of delivery!

Our webshop is ready to receive your orders 24/7. Placing orders over the phone is not an option, however if you are having trouble with the site, our staff will be happy to offer help at the designated times and phone numbers provided in the contact section of our website.

Orders are only valid when submitted with the required information. You can place orders in our webshop both with and without registering an account. You must accept the site Terms & Conditions whether or not you register. You will be provided confirmation e-mails about your registration and orders, containing all the relevant information regarding registration, ordering, delivery and payment.

Through the submission of your order and its confirmation by our webshop, a remote agreement is established between the operator of the webshop and the person placing the order – as a customer.

The contractual language is English. It does not refer to a code of conduct. Submitted order forms will be serialized and stored for reference in a searchable manner.

  • 1. Place the desired product into the shopping basket in the correct size and quantity.
  • 2. If you are finished shopping, check the quantity of the product you are purchasing. You can empty the shopping basket of its contents using the “delete” button. If you alter the product quantity, this will cause the contents of the basket to be automatically refreshed. If you wish to keep browsing, you are free to do so – the selected bikinis and accessories will remain in the basket. Our webshop will offer related products and special deals multiple times during the ordering process – they are worth looking into.

  • 6. Read and accept the terms of purchase using the checkmark.
  • 7. After providing the above information, click the “order” button to submit your order. You will be given an opportunity to review all the provided information first as well as include comments about your delivery (for example regarding size or delivery). If necessary, the data can be changed and you can also return to your shopping basket to change its contents. Once the order is submitted, it can only be altered by contacting our support department.
  • 8. After submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation to the provided e-mail address about your order being registered by our system.

* It is possible to submit orders without registering an account! In case you do register, you will be able to sign in with your account in the future and immediately make new orders without having to re-enter delivery and billing information! Be careful to enter accurate information, as the delivery and invoicing of your product will be based on this data. You only need to register one time; this step does not need to be repeated for future purchases.

Please make sure to provide accurate contact information in particular! In case of an incorrect e-mail address, we will be unable to send confirmation of your order being received. If you cannot find the confirmation e-mail in your inbox, be sure to check your SPAM folder as well. We will not be able to contact you if the provided phone number is incorrect. Inaccurate or missing contact information can make completion of your order impossible.

Deliveries are made on working days. If you are not at home during business hours on these days, it is recommended to provide a workplace address as your delivery address, if possible. The courier service will attempt delivery twice, the cost of packages that were not successfully delivered will be the customer’s responsibility!

When picking up your package, before the courier leaves, be sure to check for damage or missing items. Ask the courier to make a record of any issues! In cases like this, do not accept the delivery, as we will not be able to respond to complaints after the fact, with no record of complaints!

If an item is out of stock, the delivery times depend on how quickly our production department is able to provide said item.

The listed shipping costs already include VAT. Personal collection is not an option.

1. Accessory warranty

When can I submit an accessory warranty claim?
In case of a faulty delivery by ORIGAMI BIKINI Ltd. you may file an accessory warranty claim against the company according to the laws of the Hungarian Civil Code.

What rights do I have regarding my accessory warranty claim?
You may choose from the following possible warranty claims: You may request repairs or a replacement, except in cases where fulfilling the request is impossible or the costs to the company would exceed the cost of the other solutions by an unreasonable amount. If you did not or could not request repairs or replacement, you may request an appropriate reduction in costs or choose to repair the damage yourself – or have it repaired by a third party – at the expense of the company. If all else fails, you may choose to withdraw from the purchase. You may switch from your chosen warranty claim to another, but must assume to costs of the switch unless it was justifiable, or were given reason to do so by the company.

What time limits apply to accessory warranty claims?
You have the responsibility to report the flaw without delay, within two months of the flaw’s discovery. Also take note that any warranty claims cannot be fulfilled past the 2 year statute of limitations from the time of purchase.

Toward whom can I enforce my warranty claims?
Our customers can enforce their accessory warranty claims against ORIGAMI BIKINI Ltd.

What other conditions of exercising my warranty rights are there?
Within 6 months of your order’s completion there is no condition to enforcing your accessory warranty claims other than proof that the product was provided to you by ORIGAMI BIKINI Ltd. After the 6 months limit however, you have the responsibility of proving that the discovered flaw was already present on the product at the time of your order’s completion.

2. Product warranty

When can I submit a product warranty claim?
In case of a defective product, you may choose from the warranty rights and claims defined in section 1.

What rights do I have for a product warranty claim?
In case of a product warranty claim, you can only request repairs or replacement.

When is a product considered defective?
A product is considered defective if it does not meet the applicable quality requirements at the time of the sale, or if it does not match the properties listed in the description provided by the manufacturer.

What time limits apply to product warranty claims?
You may only enforce product warranty claims within two years of the time of the sale. Past this point you lose such rights.

Towards whom and with what conditions can the product warranty claim be enforced?
Product warranty claims can only be enforced towards the product’s manufacturer. When enforcing such a claim, the burden of proving the product’s defectiveness falls on the customer.

In what cases is the manufacturer (seller) exempt from its warranty obligations?
The manufacturer (seller) is only exempt from its warranty obligation if it can prove, that:

  • the product was not manufactured or created as part of any commercial activity, or
  • the defect was not detectable by the technology available at the time of sale, or
  • the defect stems from the application of a mandatory law or regulation

The manufacturer (seller) needs to prove only one of the above reasons to become exempt.

Please note that you cannot enforce both an accessory and product warrant claim regarding the same defect at the same time. In case of a successful enforcement of a product warranty claim however, any accessory warranty claims you may have regarding the replaced product or repaired parts can be enforced against the manufacturer.

Our customers are entitled to withdraw from purchases without giving any reason within 14 days. The withdrawal deadline is the 14th day from receiving the product.

You are exercising you rights within the deadline if submit your statement before the above-mentioned time limit.

It is the customer’s responsibility to prove that they have exercised their right to withdraw as defined in § 20 of Government Decree No. 45/2014. (II. 26.) as described therein.

Legal implications of withdrawing

If you withdraw from your purchase we will without delay, at latest 14 days after receiving your statement of withdrawal, refund all expenses paid by you, including the cost of transport (except for any excess costs stemming from choosing a method of transport more expensive than the cheapest default offered by us). We will use a refund method identical to how the original purchase was made. In case the payment was made to a courier using cash or a credit or debit card and you requested the refund to be made through bank transaction for the sake of expediency, be sure to fill out the bank account related section of the withdrawal statement, as we do not possess your bank account information! You may not incur any additional costs stemming from the method of refund. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or proof that it has been sent to us. Of the two, we will use the earlier date.

The product must be sent or given back without undue delay, at latest 14 days after the statement of withdrawal has been sent. The deadline is considered met if the product is sent before the end of the 14th day. The immediate cost of returning the product falls on the customer, we do not accept Freepost packages and will return them to sender in every case.

As the majority of our products are swimwear, due to reasons of hygiene, we do not allow such products to be returned if the product has been used, its sewn in labels removed, or the included customer documentation is missing. You can only exercise your right to withdraw from purchase if the product is not used, undamaged (as we would like to resell it) and has generally been returned to us in the state we sent it.

Pay special attention the proper use of the products, as the cost of any damages stemming from improper use are customer’s responsibility! After the return package is received by us, the opening of the package and the examination of the returned product will be recorded by video camera. This is necessary to avoid any misunderstandings in the future (for example regarding the returned product being damaged, used or missing parts).

  • The withdrawal statement must contain the following details: Name, Order number, article and size of the product, customer’s bank details (name and account no.).
  • The fastest and most secure method of refunding money is bank transfer, so that is our recommended method when withdrawing from purchases!
  • Due to reasons of hygiene, we can only accept returned swimwear if the product has not been uses and is undamaged – in the same state that we sent it to our customers!
  • The sooner your return the product, the sooner you will get your money back! The product needs to be sent back without undue delay, at the latest 14 days after the withdrawal statement. It is best to do so as soon as possible.
  • Before submitting, please check the “Information regarding withdrawal rights” section of the Terms & Conditions!
  • You can also indicate your intention to withdraw from your purchase to us via post or in e-mail. In case of postal delivery, the time of posting is considered the time of the statement’s submission.
